The State of Qatar does not consider itself bound by the provisions of Article 52 of the Convention concerning proceedings near the International Court of Justice.


The Convention enters into force for Qatar March 6, 2014 pursuant to paragraph 2 Article 47 of which states: "For each State ratifying this Convention or acceding to it after the deposit of the fifteenth instrument of ratification or accession, the Convention shall enter into force twelve months after the date of deposit by such State of its instrument of ratification or accession. '
